This Privacy Policy explains how Borons Lab ("Borons Lab," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use JustDM, including our website at justdm.xyz and related apps and services (together, the "Service").
By using the Service, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use JustDM.
1. Who we are
JustDM is a product of Borons Lab. We help Instagram Business and Creator accounts send automated direct messages when someone comments with a keyword. For privacy questions, use the support email listed on our website.
2. Information we collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
- Account and contact information. Email address, name, and similar details you provide when you join the waitlist, create an account, or contact support.
- Instagram and Meta data.When you connect Instagram, we receive information through Meta's official APIs, such as account identifiers, profile details needed to run automations, comments that trigger rules you set, and delivery status for messages we send on your behalf.
- Automation and product data. Keywords, message templates, links, settings, usage metrics, and logs needed to operate and improve the Service.
- Payment information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by our payment provider (for example, Razorpay). We do not store full card or UPI credentials on our servers.
- Website and device data. IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring URLs, and similar analytics collected through cookies or similar technologies (such as PostHog) to understand how the site is used.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain JustDM
- Send waitlist and product updates you requested
- Process subscriptions and customer support requests
- Monitor reliability, prevent abuse, and improve the product
- Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service
We do not sell your personal information.
4. How we share information
We may share information with:
- Service providers who help us host, analyze, email, or process payments, under contracts that limit their use of your data
- Meta / Instagram, as required to connect your account and send messages through their platform
- Authorities, when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security
- A buyer or successor, if Borons Lab is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with notice where required
5. Data retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including to provide the Service, resolve disputes, and meet legal requirements. Waitlist emails are kept until you ask to be removed or we no longer need them for launch communications. Account and automation data are generally retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward, unless you request deletion sooner where we can legally do so.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices
Depending on applicable law, you may:
- Access or update account information
- Disconnect Instagram from JustDM
- Ask us to delete or correct personal data we hold
- Opt out of non-essential marketing emails
To make a request, email the support address on our website from the email associated with your account or waitlist signup. We may need to verify your identity before acting on the request.
8. Children's privacy
JustDM is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
9. International processing
We may process information in India and other countries where we or our providers operate. Those countries may have different data protection rules than your home country.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
